This can be done on the same day if orders are placed before 12pm (Mon-Fri) and we have confirmation of all the above details.

Deliveries will be between 8.30am and 6pm and we request that you are available at those times, otherwise the order will be returned and we may have to issue a non-delivery fee.

Items must be returned within 14 days after receiving your order. Items must be returned in the same condition in which they were received, be unused, have any accessories included, and include all the original packaging.

Installation Info

The below information is a general guide and not for any specific air con system.

The installation will require the services of an F-GAS registered engineer, who will be trained and have experience of installing these systems

Indoor Unit - Pre-checks

Ensure there is no source of heat or steam nearby.
Ensure there is nothing stopping the installation of the unit before drilling holes.
Do not mount above a shelf or a cupboard that could restrict air circulation.
For the unit to work effectively in cooling mode, it must be mounted 2m off the ground or above head height.
Make sure the installation wall is suitably secure.

Outdoor Unit – Pre-Checks

If you erect a canopy to protect the unit from rain and sun, DO NOT obstruct the heating dispersion for the condenser.
Don't keep animals or plants near the outdoor unit as the hot and cold air discharge will cause discomfort.
Make sure to have the distance specified in the installation manual (provided by each manufacturer) between ceiling, wall, furniture and other obstacles.
Do not mount near flammable gas tanks.
The mounting brackets/mounting plate or mounting feet for the unit must be secure, flat and level.
The outdoor unit must be secure, flat and level.

Installation Of The Air Conditioning System

Your chosen F-GAS registered engineer will aid you to select the best location for the indoor unit (Evaporator) and outdoor unit (Condenser) to be positioned.

You may also need to employ the services of an electrician, to supply mains power to the outdoor unit’s location. If in doubt, discuss this with your chosen air conditioning engineer.

The engineer will likely book the installation in as a half day or full day job, depending on the chosen locations and complexities of the installation.

They will usually supply all parts and sundries required to complete the job, as most systems available are only supplied with an indoor unit, an outdoor unit and a remote control. There are various extra parts required to install an air conditioning system, this can include:

Brackets or Feet
Pipework and Lagging
Electrical Cable
Trunking
Condensate Pumps
Fixings and Fasteners
Additional Refrigerant
Plus many more items, depending on the type of system(s) being installed

It is best to speak with the engineer when discussing the quote given to carry out the installation, to see what is included.

Specialist tools are required to commission an air con system which your engineer will bring with them to install you system. Systems must be strength and pressure tested and held on a vacuum for long periods of time, to ensure they are going to operate effectively as possible and eliminate the risk of leaking refrigerant into the atmosphere.

Upon completion of the installation the engineer should issue you an F-GAS Commission Certificate.

Excellent first purchase .Having been bewildered by contrasting reviews re these machines in general either "great" or "rubbish" I phoned Cooleasy & received sound ,honest opinion from Jonathan ,that confirmed my thoughts ie. (1)These are NOT air conditioners with far greater initial cost ,runningcost ,condensation pipe plumbing etc., & DONT claim to be (2) But this Air cooling fan does have an excellent list of features compared to others I looked at including its cooling evaporating set up . Think of hot/dry day at beach then contrast body surface cooling effect when breeze evaporates that water .This is how this differs from a plain fan or condensing air So yes it will cool air in line with cold water in sump evaporating into room .It therefore helps increase humidity on dry days . Activated 2yr Guarantee on line which was also reassuring . If had to find fault then they could include a couple of "freezer blocks" but most of us have a few lying about ! Hope this helps anyone having the same questions .

Bought a Comfee 2.6kw air con unit for the bedroom - excellent price when you consider we recently had a quote from a professional to supply & install at £1,300 plus vat - not too bad, BUT, he wanted another £1,400 to install a second unit in the room directly above - 2 v simple installs - 1 days work and the units and parts would be say a total of £1,300 max so £1,400 for a days work - where is the economy of scale and an honest days work for a fair price? We are experienced DIY'ers but have never done air con before, hubby has limited car air con experience and electric experience so once we found the easy install units at Cooleasy, we thought we would try one unit, the worst that could happen is we have to pay to have it re-gassed. The instructions from the manufacturer are both wrong (in parts) and hard to understand ...however, with some v prompt responses to queries from various staff at Cooleasy (Mike & an installer) we did it, it works great & the unit is v quiet and works well. We are so happy I just ordered another 3.5kw unit for the bedroom above and I have no doubt that will be easier & much quicker now we have done one. Probably too difficult for someone with no DIY experience but otherwise, doable. Thanks guys

Cooleasy is the only company i could find who would sell to end users, as i had particular requirements for my split AC Unit. Purchased a mini split ac from cool easy. Very helpful told me exactly what one I needed next day delivery so fast. Delivery driver was very pleasant I checked delivery as per there instructions no problems found and signed for it. I installed the system myself as I'm a very competent D.I.Yer with no problems although you must follow the instructions I think it's best to read them a few times before you start. I also hired the core drill as you need a 65mm hole through the wall. The indoor unit is fitted with a normal 3 pin plug but the lead isn't that long only around a 1 mtr long. If your thinking about buying air con I would definatly recommend cooleasy they go the extra mile. Thank you cooleasy.

The easy fit air conditioner arrived promptly, well packed apart from the bag containing pipes etc which was poorly taped and had split. Fitting of the a/c unit went well and so far it is performing very well. It would good if a flanging tool was offered as an optional purchase so that shortening the pipes would make a neater job rather than coiling the excess around the back of the unit.

My delivery arrived on time, I paid for an AM drop. The instructions are not the easiest to follow but the phone support from Neil and via email was great. (need to improve the wiring instructions between the units)I can understand that with the heat wave things are very busy but i got through when i need to. I ordered a Midea split system for a bedroom , the indoor unit fan rattled after being installed, and the unit was changed without a blink next day. Its now running great , very quite at night, our old ceiling fan made more noise !, The out door unit is quite and only revs up when you need it on full power. The wifi apple app has loads of settings and features so you can completely control the system. I know some reviews get fabricated but you wont go wrong using these guys, I never bother with reviews but i did this time, I have had enough of the heat wave a gave in !! Best thing i have done with £400

I haven't even finished the install yet but I felt I had to post a review to say how awesome my experience has been with them so far. I initially sent an online chat question about whether the fitted units could be re-gassed and Neil instantly phoned to answer me and then told me all the things I needed to know, he then advised which was the best one for me (which was the one I had already chosen). There was no attempt to sell me anything while on the phone and I ordered online later that day. Delivery was super quick by Danny who then went above and beyond to explain the installation process to me. I think it would have taken me a hell of a lot longer to do what I have done so far without his help, awesome guy. Hard work getting to speak to someone on the 0800 number, left 3 messages with an operator but never returned my call. But once I had emailed Cooleasy with a few questions, size of unit, size of wall brackets etc they could have not been more helpful.
