Air Condition Systems for all-year-round comfort

Whichever air condition system and solution you choose, it will require professional installation. For commercial project there are three core systems we tend to install.

  • Single Split Air Conditioning Units

A straightforward and simple approach to handle your business requirements. Single split AC system encompasses one individual indoor unit (evaporator) connected and powered by one individual outdoor (condenser) unit. Great for single room/office use.

  • Multi Split Air Conditioning Units

When exterior space is at a premium and you desire more than one internal unit to be installed, multi-split systems may be the best option.

With the ability to operate up to 5 indoor units (of different types and size) from just one external unit, multi split systems can offer great flexibility when designing your climate control solution.

  • Portable Air Conditioners

Comfort that follows you. Portable air conditioning products are the most straight forward and easiest of all systems to install in your garden room, with a simple plug and play operation.

What is a standard installation?

This is where the indoor unit is mounted on the inside of the external wall and the condenser outside unit is to be located and bolted directly to a set of rubber feet or wall brackets

If the installation in is in a flat the condenser outside unit is located on the ground floor, easily accessible and any walls are capable of supporting the weight of the equipment.

Our standard air conditioning installation criteria

  • The evaporator (indoor unit) is mounted on the inside of the external wall
  • The condenser (outdoor unit) is to be located & bolted directly to a set of rubber feet or wall brackets (usually included in the price).
  • If the condenser location is on the ground floor, it is easily accessible, and any walls can support the weight of the equipment.

What is not covered in a standard installation?

It is the customer's responsibility to organise an electrician to supply an electrical power circuit for the new system (this can sometimes be taken from an existing circuit, but get professional advice from an electrician to learn more). For larger systems, a dedicated supply may be required.

Configuration of any WiFi options available on your AC units is not included in our installation, this must be completed by your IT experts.

VAT for domestic installations can be charged at a reduced rate of 0% rather than the standard 20% for both the installation and the AC equipment. Call us for more information

Please note the above is an installation price guide and not a fixed quotation. Installations inside the M25 and remote locations can be considerably more.

Ongoing Air Conditioning Servicing & Support

Servicing of your air conditioning and heat pump system needs to happen every year (usually once per 12 month period) to keep the system operating efficiently and also to uphold the manufacturers warranty.

Send a new domestic installation enquiry

In order to have the system(s) installed, a site survey will likely need to be carried out. The more information you supply, the easier and faster this process will be, so you can enjoy the product sooner rather than later

FAQs Installation

Why is Wall Mounted AC Beneficial?

A wall-mounted air conditioning unit offers several benefits, making it a popular choice for both residential and commercial spaces. Below are some key reasons why wall-mounted AC units can be advantageous: Compact and Out of the Way: Wall-mounted units are mounted high on the wall, saving valuable floor space. This makes them ideal for smaller rooms or spaces where floor space is limited, such as apartments, offices, or bedrooms. Aesthetics: These units are sleek and modern, blending seamlessly into most room designs. Many models come with slim profiles, making them less obtrusive than traditional floor-standing units Wall-mounted units are typically placed higher up on the wall, allowing for better air distribution throughout the room. This helps cool or heat the space more evenly and efficiently.  Wall-mounted units are often easier to install compared to central air systems because they don’t require significant changes to existing infrastructure. This can make the installation process quicker and more affordable.

Can I heat my house using AC?

Yes but ideally you would need an AC unit in every room Advantages of Using AC for Heating Efficiency: As mentioned, heat pumps can be far more efficient than traditional electric resistance heating (like baseboard heaters), because they move heat rather than generate it, using less energy overall.Year-Round Comfort: A heat pump system provides both heating in the winter and cooling in the summer, making it a versatile solution for year-round climate control.Lower Operating Costs: Compared to electric heating or fossil fuel heating systems, using an air conditioning unit (specifically a heat pump) can reduce your monthly energy bills.

Do you offer a service plan?

Yes we can but this is more for commercial installing for businesses where the cooling is mission critical

Can I install an AC unit myself?

While it is technically possible to install an air conditioning unit yourself, it is not recommended for most people due to the complexity and potential risks involved. Here are several factors to consider: Split Systems (Ductless Mini-Split): Installing a ductless mini-split air conditioner is far more complex. It involves both interior and exterior components that need to be properly connected. This typically requires running refrigerant lines, electrical wiring, and drilling holes for the installation of the unit.

What power supply do I need?

This will depend on the size of the outdoor unit but in general a fused spurs can be used for an AC unit upto 4.0kw for units larger than this you will need a dedicated supply from your main distribution board.

Do you do electrics?

No we dont offer this however should your installation need a dedicated supply we are happy to put you in touch with an electrician.
