The Samsung Console Floor Mounted Systems are a simple design with a flat/low profile appearance which is very easy to keep clean.

The slim indoor unit has a reduced depth of 199mm. The new multiple stage heat exchanger is folded to form a surround to the upper section of the fan enclosure. This ensures low air velocity and reduced sound levels, whilst delivering high performance and efficiency.

Delivery & Returns

We take pride in offering a wide range of quality products, most of which are in stock and ready for same-day dispatch. Occasionally, certain items may need to be ordered directly from our supplier, which could extend the delivery time.

We aim to dispatch orders on a next-working day pallet delivery, once we have received the FGAS details of your installation engineer, and then verified those details with the engineer. The required information is sent once we have received your order online. We will then confirm with you a convenient delivery date to ensure you can take delivery of the item.

This can be done on the same day if orders are placed before 12pm (Mon-Fri) and we have confirmation of all the above details.

Deliveries will be between 8.30am and 6pm and we request that you are available at those times, otherwise the order will be returned and we may have to issue a non-delivery fee.

Please allow for possible delivery charges and extended delivery times if delivery location is outside our couriers range e.g. Scottish highlands, Isle of Man etc.

Returns

Items must be returned within 14 days after receiving your order. Items must be returned in the same condition in which they were received, be unused, have any accessories included, and include all the original packaging.

Slim and Smart Design

Being just 199mm thick, its slim and smart design is compact and unobtrusive, so it will fit into almost any space and with any décor. But it is still powerful enough to maintain the optimal temperature, even if the room has high ceilings and many windows.

2-way Air Outlets

Create a pleasant environment by ensuring an even temperature in every corner of your room. The Console air conditioner has 2-way Air Outlets. By having two separate air outlets for cooling and heating, it ensures that every inch of space quickly reaches the desired temperature – and stays that way. Warm air is expelled from the bottom air outlet, helping to spread warmth evenly throughout the room.

Silent Mode

Make less noise when you need to, but still benefit from powerful and efficient air conditioning. Simply select from four different operating modes (High, Medium, Low and Silent) to enjoy optimal heating and cooling in a wide variety of situations. In Silent mode it works at a lower speed to generate a quiet, but comfortable air flow. With a noise level of just 23dB(A)* it is almost as quiet as a whisper. With no noisy distractions everyone can concentrate easily, which helps enhance productivity.

The below information is a general guide and not for any specific air con system.

The installation will require the services of an F-GAS registered engineer, who will be trained and have experience of installing these systems

Indoor Unit - Pre-checks

  • Ensure there is no source of heat or steam nearby.
  • Ensure there is nothing stopping the installation of the unit before drilling holes.
  • Do not mount above a shelf or a cupboard that could restrict air circulation.
  • For the unit to work effectively in cooling mode, it must be mounted 2m off the ground or above head height.
  • Make sure the installation wall is suitably secure.

Outdoor Unit – Pre-Checks

  • If you erect a canopy to protect the unit from rain and sun, DO NOT obstruct the heating dispersion for the condenser.
  • Don't keep animals or plants near the outdoor unit as the hot and cold air discharge will cause discomfort.
  • Make sure to have the distance specified in the installation manual (provided by each manufacturer) between ceiling, wall, furniture and other obstacles.
  • Do not mount near flammable gas tanks.
  • The mounting brackets/mounting plate or mounting feet for the unit must be secure, flat and level.
  • The outdoor unit must be secure, flat and level.

Installation Of The Air Conditioning System

Your chosen F-GAS registered engineer will aid you to select the best location for the indoor unit (Evaporator) and outdoor unit (Condenser) to be positioned.

You may also need to employ the services of an electrician, to supply mains power to the outdoor unit’s location. If in doubt, discuss this with your chosen air conditioning engineer.

The engineer will likely book the installation in as a half day or full day job, depending on the chosen locations and complexities of the installation.

They will usually supply all parts and sundries required to complete the job, as most systems available are only supplied with an indoor unit, an outdoor unit and a remote control. There are various extra parts required to install an air conditioning system, this can include:

  1. Brackets or Feet
  2. Pipework and Lagging
  3. Electrical Cable
  4. Trunking
  5. Condensate Pumps
  6. Fixings and Fasteners
  7. Additional Refrigerant
  8. Plus many more items, depending on the type of system(s) being installed

It is best to speak with the engineer when discussing the quote given to carry out the installation, to see what is included.

Specialist tools are required to commission an air con system which your engineer will bring with them to install you system. Systems must be strength and pressure tested and held on a vacuum for long periods of time, to ensure they are going to operate effectively as possible and eliminate the risk of leaking refrigerant into the atmosphere.

Upon completion of the installation the engineer should issue you an F-GAS Commission Certificate.
